Meet The Rocksolid Team

GENEVIEVE

Genevieve was born in Pietermaritzburg. After matriculating from The Wykeham Collegiate in 1996, she earned her BCom degree from Rhodes University in 2001. She went on to achieve a BCom Honours from UKZN in 2003, where she received the Golden Key International Honours Society Award.

Genevieve’s professional trajectory began as a trainee accountant at Mitchells’ Chartered Accountants in Pietermaritzburg. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in August 2005. Her career encompasses diverse roles, including stints with a clothing and footwear manufacturer, a timber co-op, and a period lecturing at UKZN, Pietermaritzburg. In 2009, she joined Colenbrander Inc and rose to the position of Director by April 2010.

Committed to continuous growth, Genevieve completed the postgraduate B-BBEE Management Development Programme in 2011. She has actively contributed to the community as a Director and Treasurer at the Pietermaritzburg Chamber of Business.

On a personal note, Genevieve shares her life with Larry and their two children. Away from the professional arena, she enjoys quality family time and explores her passion for travel, scuba diving, and her appreciation of nature.

JOSHUA

Joshua was born in Pietermaritzburg. After graduating with academic honours from Maritzburg College in 2017, Joshua proceeded to acquire a BCom (Law) degree from Varsity College in 2020, followed by a BCom Honours in Business Management in 2022 from Varsity College Pietermaritzburg.

Before assuming his role as a B-BBEE Consultant at Rocksolid Consulting in 2022, Joshua honed his skills in legal support and financial sales with a local financial services firm in Pietermaritzburg.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Joshua values time spent with friends and family, maintains a commitment to physical fitness, and harbours a profound passion for cars.

MICAYLIN

Micaylin was born in Pietermaritzburg. After matriculating from Heather Secondary School in 2016, Micaylin earned his BCom degree in Marketing Management from Varsity College in 2019. Building on this foundation, he further distinguished himself by achieving a BCom Honours in Marketing Management in 2021 from UKZN, Pietermaritzburg.

Prior to joining Rocksolid Consulting as a B-BBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) Consultant in 2022, Micaylin served as a Verification Analyst for a BBBEE Verification Agency, showcasing his expertise in the field.

In his free time, Micaylin enjoys playing video games, watching soccer, and spending quality time with his family.
